Lawmakers responded to new threats to funding and personal freedom from the Trump administration with a strong slate of legislation to protect the most vulnerable Colorado residents. Unfortunately, continued chaos at the federal level including Medicaid cuts backed by former state Rep. Gabe Evans in Congress could force lawmakers back to the Capitol this year to mitigate the damage.
